CNSS demands road through Oxy Zone

Chhattisgarh Nagrik Sangharsh Samiti (CNSS) demanded construction of a road through the under-construction Oxy Zone for the residents of Rajatalab and Pt Ravishankar Shukla ward. CNSS office bearers Vishwajeet Mitra and Harjit Juneja stated that the construction of Oxy Zone began on their suggestion as registered in the government record. Presently, Forest Development Corporation is carrying out expansion of Oxy Zone by demolishing the building of Directorate of Animal Husbandry Department on the road to Mahasamund Taxi Stand/Ravi Nagar and Rajatalab. Residents of these areas could get relief if the department spares space for 12 meter long road for up to Collectorate Chowk.

A demand of over-bridge for the residents of Rajatalab is pending for past six years. Residents of both of these areas have to face difficulties to reach Collectorate Chowk due to road divider, particularly the pedestrians and motorists have to drive wrong side up to Collectorate Chowk, which is also against the traffic laws.
