Nilekani to inaugurate Bajaj Institute of Technology today

Nandan Nilekani, Co-founder and Chairman of Infosys Limited and Founding Chairman of UIDAI (Aadhaar), will inaugurate Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT) in Pipri (Meghe) village in Wardha district on Monday at 3 pm. Rahul Bajaj, President of Shiksha Mandal, Wardha; Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman, Shiksha Mandal that runs BIT; Dr Narendra Kanhe, Principal; and other dignitaries will grace the occasion with their presence. Rahul Bajaj appealed to the representatives of educational institutions, students, and people to attend the programme in large numbers.

Shiksha Mandal started BIT from the academic session 2017-18, based on approvals from All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, and Government of Maharashtra. Bajaj Institute of Technology is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, the State Technological University of Maharashtra. All students of the institute would undergo internship in industry during summer break. Shiksha Mandal has a culture of excellence, discipline, hard work, simplicity, social commitment and ethical behaviour.
