Jail Road bus stop opened for passengers

Newly-constructed bus stop at Jail Road between Kruplani T-point and Ajni Over-bridge was opened for travellers on Tuesday. It will replace Rahate Colony Square bus stop. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic Chinmay Pandit, MSRTC Official T Kalmegh, Police Inspector Traffic Jayesh Bhandarkar and others were present at the occasion.
 
A press release of Traffic police informed that the all buses moving towards Wardha and Chandrapur will halt at the new stop. The decision was taken after observing long line of vehicle at Rahate Colony Square. Many citizens have lodged complaints with the traffic police to shift the bus stop. As per the notification issued by police, route of the buses will be - Congress Nagar square - Ajni Railway Station - Jail Road - Kruplani Square. A special team of traffic police will be deployed at Rahate Colony Square to initiate stern action against passenger vehicles using the old bus stop.
