Police keeping tight vigil at Bhopal stn

After putting Bhopal Railway Station on high alert for possible terror attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), police team continued the search operation at all platforms and circulating area on Tuesday. Police team along with dog squad checked passengers and anti-social elements at the station. A letter threatening terror attack at several railway stations across country has been received by officials of Rohtak station. The police team continued intense checking at several points.
 
Entire station was seized by the police team for security purpose and each passenger passing through the entry or exit were being checked. A special team in civil dress has been also deployed at the station to keep an eye on people moving at the station. Women constables are also deployed at the station for checking the lady passengers and their relatives appearing at station for seeing off or pick up. A detailed advisory on JeM suicide bombers has been sent to security head of Bhopal division and other few stations.
 
They have been asked to keep special vigil over trains approaching from or towards metro cities and especially towards Jammu and Kashmir. According to railway officials Madhya Pradesh had been a hotbed for terror activities. In year 2017, ten people were injured and three were seriously injured in IED blast on a passenger train near Jabdi station under district Shajapur. There was also terror attack in Bhopal-Ujjain train. The threatening letter received by Rohtak railway officials seemed to be signed by Masood Azhar in which he threatened to attack on railway stations and temples on October 8.
