How the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) makes the difference, is evident from the appeal made by Jagat Prasad Nadda, National President (Working) in Nagpur on Thursday while addressing Vijay Sankalp rally at Suresh Bhat auditorium. “Nobody can assume victory is ours only. Everybody has to work hard. Leaders, candidates too have to work at booth level if time demands,” Nadda made it clear. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, too, made everybody aware that mere handing over the biodata would not be enough, they have to remain loyal to the party ideology.

Saroj Pande, Maharashtra State in-charge of BJP; State Organising Secretary V Satish, ex-MP Ajay Sancheti, ex-MP Datta Meghe, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLC Chainsukh Sancheti, Agriculture Minister Dr Anil Bonde, Tribal Development Minister Ashok Uike, Minister of State Dr Ranjit Patil, ex-Union Minister Hansraj Ahir, Maharashtra Minister Madan Yerawar, MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, President of City unit of BJP Pravin Datke, Ruling Party Leader in Nagpur Municipal Corporation Sandip Joshi, Mayor Nanda Jichkar and others were seated on the dais.Nadda said, “Everybody is under watch. You have only two eyes but you have been watched by thousand eyes. If you want to become leader you have to take every single responsibility too.

No work is small. Everybody has to go to booth, work there, monitor them. Don’t assume that victory would come automatically. You have to work at lower level too.” He called scrapping of article 370 as the biggest achievement of Modi Government. It could become possible because of the will power of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nadda stressed. While making scathing attack on Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Nadda informed the audience that half of the leaders of these parties were in jail. On the contrary the leaders of BJP submit the record of developmental works before the public, pointed out Nadda. Nadda released the booklet of developmental work conducted in rural areas as well as in South West Nagpur.

He expressed happiness as the number of BJP members rose to 17 crore. Earlier the number was 11 crore. BJP will have Shiv Sena as ally and the alliance will win all the seats in Vidarbha, Gadkari expressed confidence. He said, “People are demanding tickets for them, their wives. Asking for tickets is fair enough but candidature can be given to one person only. My appeal is if you don’t get candidature, still work for the party. Remember party’s victory depends on us and vice-versa.”
