Sutra Seva bus service begins on Bhopal-Bairasia-Sironj route

City Link Limited (BCLL) has proposed to run luxury buses on 34 new intercity routes under Sutra Seva Bus scheme (MP Ki Apni Bus) initiative of centre’s Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme through private partnership, which aims to encourage public transportation. The proposed plan will include 62 AC and 48 non AC buses, out of which operation of sixty-two buses has already begun.
 
This ambitious Urban Transport Scheme will connect divisional headquarters and remote areas to Bhopal. On Tuesday, operation of 2 AC and 2 non AC buses was initiated at Bhopal-Bairasia-Sironj route. This Sutra Seva was inaugurated with proper rituals by Mayor Alok Verma and regional MLA Vishnu Khatri. In his address, BCLL Director Keval Mishra informed that these buses will run daily from six in the morning till nine at night.
 
MLA Vishnu Khatri also gave an address on this occasion, and said that Bairasia residents, students, and public representatives have been making demands for a bus service from the last two years. As per demands, BCLL structured a plan for bus service, which has finally taken shape today.
