‘People from all sections should come forward against plastic menace’

“People belonging to all sections of the society will have to come forward to combat the menace of polythene only then succeeding generation can be saved from hazards of polythene,” said MLA Vinay Saxena while addressing a function organised by Jabalpur Municipal Corporation on whether polythene is a facility or threat.
The occasion also featured presence of Municipal Commissioner Ashish Kumar. According to information, a function was organised by JMC on whether polythene is a facility or danger. Speakers spoke at length on the occasion. As Municipal Commissioner Ashish Kumar in his address informed the gathering about efforts being initiated by JMC in view of directives issued by Central and State Government to combat polythene menace.
He made an appeal for constructive support from people belonging to all sections of society. In the programme, students from various schools spoke on hazards of polythene and expressed their complete support for the move. The gathering was also addressed by Rohit Singh Kaushal, Additional Commissioner (Finance) and Deputy Commissioner Ekta Agrawal.
