Man dies of dengue in Durg

This is the first death in the district this year, due to dengue and jaundice The deceased suddenly fell ill and was not able to recover from his illness and his condition was deteriorating day by day 
 
Even after the efforts made by the Health Department and Municipal Corporation Durg for curtailing dengue and jaundice epidemics in the city a youth from Kasardih Durg died on the intervening nights of Wednesday and Thursday. This is the first death in the district this year, due to dengue and jaundice. The deceased has been identified as Tulesh Kumar Sahu (35) son of Govind Ram Sahu a resident of Street No-1, Kasardih Durg. He was working as an electrician.
 
The deceased family members informed that he had an 8 year old son and presently his wife is expecting a baby. They further informed that about 10 days ago Tulesh Kumar Sahu alias Raju suddenly fell ill. And was not able to recover from his illness and his condition was deteriorating day by day. So the family members took him to JLN Hospital, Sector-9 Bhilai for treatment. There the doctors informed them that Tulesh is suffering from both Dengue as well as Jaundice. On the advice of Sector-9 doctors, he was shifted to Raipur and admitted at Ramakrishna Care Hospital, Raipur on September 11. Where he was under treatment for eight days, but was showing no improvement and finally succumbed on Wednesday night.
