Patient’s attendants compelled to carry ECG machine in absence of staff at BRAMH

Patient’s attendants are compelled to bring ECG machine from department in absence of class four staff at Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (BRAMH). As per information, one Janki Kurrey, a resident of Saddu was admitted to Emergency ward of hospital. On duty doctor allegedly asked the attendant of patient to bring Electro Cardiogram Graph (ECG) machine from other department in absence of peon in the department.
 
As the class four staff was engage some where and to avoid delay in treatment the lady attendant had to bring the machine from other department. Official sources informed that sufficient number of ECG machines are available in the departments but due to some technical cause may be the machine was borrowed from other department for time being. However, hospital authorities assured that they will look into the matter so that things are not repeated in future.
