MPHRC Chairman, others call on Governor

GOVERNOR Lalji Tandon was called on by Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) and members, religious head, office-bearers of various organisations besides common man and eminent citizens. Chairman of Human Rights Commission Narendar Kumar Jain, members of the Commission Sarabjeet Singh and Manohar Masani met the Governor and apprised him of activities of the Commission. Religious Head Maulana Zahid Ahmed of Lucknow along with respectable members of Shia community also met the Governor.
 
They held discussions with the Governor on various educational and social activities and informed him about the activities being carried out by the organisations in the field of education. Similarly, Om Prakash Sharma of Shiksha Evam Sanskriti Utthan Nyas informed the Governor about efforts being made by Nyas in education field. The Governor was called by National President of Akhil Rajgond Mahasabha Neelkaran Raj and office-bearers. He informed the Governor about Jan-Jagrukta Samvaidhanik Adhikaar Rally conducted by various social organisations. Raj informed that the rally commenced from various tribal blocks on June 14 and culminated in Bhopal on Wednesday.
 
He also informed about problems concerning caste certificates. Besides, he requested the Governor to get the problems related to implementation resolved, despite consent given in favour of the community at all levels. State Secretary of Vanopaj Sahkari Karmchari Evam Sangrahak Kalyan Samiti Ramvilas Digoniya informed the Governor about problems of members of the organisation. He emphasised on need to implement order of increase in salary of managers of Prathmik Laghu Vanopaj Sahakari Samiti with retrospective effect.
