AFTER bringing a storm in the State politics three days ago by opening front against former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, it seems that Forest Minister Umang Singhar’s anger has started to thaw. Minister Singhar refrained from making any comment against Digvijay Singh on Wednesday. It is learnt that Chief Minister Kamal Nath has taken a serious note of the tussle between Umang Singhar and Digvijay Singh and tried to make peace. Moreover, Singhar has received support from Jyotiraditya Scindia who said that if Singhar has said anything then it should be looked into and CM Kamal Nath should also hear both sides to find an amicable solution.

According to sources, over Singhar’s episode the CM has asked ministers not to raise grievances on a public platform. He also vouched for solution of grievances at the earliest. “Now, Umang Singhar related issue is very much closed,” said a Congress leader. Notably, Umang Singhar had opened front against Digvijay Singh, levelling various charges. He said that Digvijay Singh is building pressure on ministers by writing letters to them, asking action taken on his recommendations. On Tuesday, Umang Singhar created sensation by accusing Digvijay Singh as a blackmailer.
