Metro gets CMRS certificate for services on Aqua route

Maha Metro, in a press release, stated that it has received a certificate on Thursday from Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) for commencement of commercial services on Aqua route. The safety clearance from CMRS comes 48 hours before arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister would dedicate the 11-km line of Nagpur Metro to the nation and Nagpurians in particular.
 
Only three stations on the route are ready for the visitors while works on other stations are on at various stages. The stations completed are Lokmanya Nagar (Hingna) and Subhash Nagar and Institute of Engineers (Alankar Square). In all 10 stations are earmarked on the route that abuts Ambazari Lake. The Aqua Line will intersect with Orange Line at Sitabuldi.
