Digvijay speaks up, asks partymen to be in discipline

After remaining on target of Forest Minister Umang Singhar for last four days, ex-Chief Minister of State Digvijay Singh came in front of media for the first time on Friday and said that it is a matter to be looked upon by Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. However, he underlined the need for everyone to follow the discipline.

Answering to a question related to Umang Singhar’s objection to his act of writing letters to ministers, Digvijay Singh told that as a Member of Parliament and person from State, he enjoys the privilege of writing letters. Shedding light on letter controversy, he told that he had written letters on the applications came from Congress workers. He said that as a leader he used to meet persons who gave him complaints and it is on their complaints that he wrote letters and there is nothing objectionable. He added that Congress came to power due to lakhs of Congress workers.
 
When told that Forest Minister Umang Singhar has offered him a bitter tea, he said that he love to have sweet tea as he is not a diabetic person. Moreover, he suggested that discipline should be followed by everyone and not to give chance to BJP. “I leave this matter to Kamal Nath and Sonia Gandhi. If someone breaks the discipline then action should be taken,” he asserted.
 
He added that he is in politics since fifty years and he does not get baffled by the allegations. Talking about BJP, he said that his fight is against a particular ideology and will continue.
 
After this, Forest Minister Umang Singhar tweeted that everyone should remain in discipline. Notably, Forest minister Umang Singhar had brought tempest in Government and politics by alleging that Digvijay Singh is black-mailing and running Government from behind the curtains. He also alleged that Digvijay Singh is showing interest in sectors, including sand mining and liquor.
 
Amidst the unsavouring fight between Digvijay Singh and Umang Singhar, it is learnt that interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi has taken the serious view of the happenings in Madhya Pradesh and asked leaders not express their grudge outside the party forum.
