More Collection Box drums have been placed in zones for old clothes collection. The cloth bag centers started to make ecofreindly bags for public are not only facilitating in making region polythene free but also helping in generating employment for local women .Volunteers working with Bhopal Municipal corporation who is engaged in coordinating with different non government organisation which makes cloth bags says that right now 37 women are deployed at different centers in around 8 locations .They are making cloth bags for free in exchange of old clothes brought from home .There are also other centres under different voluntary organizations where women are deployed which number will range from 50- 70.

For some these women are also offering customized bags at very cheaper rates. On an average 60 to 70 cloth bags are stitched daily in these centers. The clothes are collected from residential community centers from different colony and also from colleges where wide publicity has been done .She also said that generally demand is there for making clothes bags with different compartments. At present eight variety of bags are being developed in centre for free of charge for public so as to encourage them to not to use polythene bags .Centers are being opened at New Market ,Link road number 3, Kolar road community centre, Rahul nagar, Nehru Nagar, Baghsewavniya , community centre near Naya Basera , Subash Nagar, E-6,Arera colony near sai temple , Community centre at Baghdilkusha, Acharya narednra dev Nagar etc.
