Annual conference of plastic surgeons begins

The Association of Plastic Surgeons of MP & CG in association with the Department of Burn & Plastic Surgery Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, under the patronage of Dr Arun Bhatnagar is delighted to organise a CME & 5th Annual Conference on September 7 & September 8 at Palash Residency. The two days session will feature almost every aspect of the speciality and its recent advances in the management of disease and deformities of the patients, and will be joined by more than 120 surgeons including junior doctors, senior faculties & PG students from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and all over the country. On Saturday, session participating surgeons delivered the lecture and detail operative video of the surgical technique on the topics like oral surgery, upper limb, soft tissue, reconstruction, congenital cleft, deformities, thoracoplasty reconstruction, rhinoplasty, and burn reconstruction. Junior doctors and post-graduate doctors participated in the poster competition for their research work.
 
The scientific session his expected to enrich the treasurer of knowledge of participant and will contribute for the better treatment of the patients. Some of the luminaries attending this conference are Dr Karoon Agarwal, Dr Anil Murarka, Dr S P Bajaj from New Delhi, Dr A K Singh from Lucknow, Dr Nitin Mokal, Dr James Dsilva, Dr Hayat Nagarkar, Dr Dushyant Jaiswal from Mumbai, Dr V S Rathore from Kolkata, Dr Malti Guptas, Dr Sunnet Soni , Dr Pradeep Goyal from Jaipur Dr Sunil Kalra, Dr Sakshesh Shah from Raipur shall be attending the conference and sharing their expertise and skills. Infrastructure and experts available in Bhopal and successful procedures include facelift, Rhinoplasty, liposuction, eyelid surgery, breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, body lift, hair transplant, laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, reconstructive surgeries has been carried out. Dr Arun is heading Department of Plastic Surgery in Gandhi Medical College.
 
Further, he added that plastic surgery is not luxury but necessity these days. This association which was established in the year 2011 with eleven members has now grown to hundred members. It has been organising regular CMEs and conferences for the sharing of knowledge and advances in various cities of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which could be used for the better and State of the art management of the patients skill congenital and acquired deformities by plastic surgeons.
