Workshop under UnnaT Bharat Abhiyan held

One day Regional Orientation Workshop was organised under the UnnaT Bharat Abhiyan of the Government of India at the National Institute of Technology. About 25 institutes of the state participated in the workshop. Professor Priyanka Kaushal (RCI Coordinator, IIT DELHI) and Dr Alok Jangid, Professor Dayalbagh University attended the workshop as guest.
 
On this occasion, Dr Ravani, Director, NIT Raipur said that in this workshop, the villagers of State will be informed about the development plans and to promote technological development in rural areas. In the orientation programme, NCI representatives and experts responded to various issues raised by various institutions. In the workshop, Dr Sudhakar Pandey (Regional Coordinator, UBA) gave many ideas for funding and convergence to achieve the goals.
 
He promised the institutes to provide all kinds of support for UBA. Some case studies and achievements were presented by Dr Pandey. He showcased NIT’s innovation centere Makerspace to encourage faculties to make best use of their resources and skills for New India. Dr Sudhakar Pandey emphasised on promoting Jal Shakti Abhiyan, making people aware of various schemes of the Government of India like Ayushman Bharat, Mudra Yojana and other health and good governance schemes.
