The Silent Protest March was led by RSS Prant Sanghachalak Bisraram Yadav, was participated by Sah Prant Sanghachalak Dr Purnendu Saxena, Prant Karyawah Chandrashekhar Verma, Prant Pracharak Prem Shankar Sidar in the august presence of priests including Prasannacharyaji Maharaj, Balakdasji Maharaj, Swami Shivarupanandaji Maharaj and other revered Saints who had come from various parts of the state to support the RSS in its cause. Later the Peace-Silent Protest March culminated after handing over a memorandum to district authorities in the name of Governor Chhattisgarh and copies marked to President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

Addressing media persons RSS Prant Sanghachalak Bisraram Yadav, was participated by Sah Prant Sanghachalak Dr Purnendu Saxena said RSS workers and pracharaks working under adverse conditions in far-flung areas of the state are subjected to violence. He said due to fear it may happen that villagers wouldn’t support them but the whole state is standing in their support. They said violence and illegal activities have increased manifold in the state. Such acts of violence is not carried out by one organisation or any one group but it is act of anti-national elements, financed by foreign countries, who under a plan are executing such activities. He called upon the State Government to carry out impartial enquiryinto all such connections and intentions.

In the memorandum addressed to Governor Chhattisgarh, the RSS stated that a RSS worker and former Sarpanch Dadu Singh Koretiya was killed by miscreants by entering into his house. Although this incident can be termed as bizarre, but this is not the only incident. Recently life threats were issued to many workers connected to RSS and other political and social organisations. Not only that, they were also subjected to violence, were murdered or compelled to leave village. The memorandum further added that the RSS is in favour of social harmony between people following different ideologies. But since last few months, from the incidents which are taking place, it seems that a conspiracy has been hatched to weaken the scheduled community by removing scheduled, social, religious and political leadership through planned killings.
