Students showcase talent in Literati Colloquium

Rajkumar College (RKC) Raipur had organised a literary festival called Literati Colloquium. It had many competitions like Debate, Elocution, Recitation, Storytelling, Quiz, Book Review, Translation, Creative Writing etc. This event concluded on Saturday. The judges on the final day were Dr Roli Tiwari, Sushant Gupte and Nupur Gupte. The trophies and certificates were distributed by RKC Principal Col Avinash Singh and the three revered judges, who praised the effort of the staff and students.
 
 
Finale of Literati Colloquium (Debate) and topic for the debate in English was “Is India perceived as a soft target?” Leesha Vaswani emerged as best debater. Soumya Samridhi Soni outshine her competitors in Hindi debate on the topic “Dhan ka mahatwa pratibha se adhik hota hai.” In Translation (English), Manav Sachdev came first while Shreya B Agrawal came first in Hindi. In Creative (English), Tulika Ahuja and in Creative (Hindi) Aditya Choubey outshined their opponents.
 
 
Nilgiri Cup For English Elocution and Recitation presented by Yuvraj Jayant Chandra Mardraj of Nilgiri and it went to Rajputs. Shri Devi Singh Chauhan Cup for the Best Hindi Debater went to Soumya Samridhi Soni. Rani Shashiprabha Devi of Kawardha’s prize for the Best English Debater went to Ku Leesha Vaswani Jhalawar Cup for Hindi Elocution and Recitation presented by Rana Bahadur of Jhalawar went to Bikrams. In Shlok Gayan (Sanskrit), Himanshu Kiri emerged as winner and Divyanshi Gupta in Hindi. Vaishnavi Goyal came first in English. In English Extempore (Speech) Sanya Chauhan, in Poetry Kanak N Singh and in Story, Himanshu Pungalia emerged as best.
 
 
In Hindi Extempore (Speech), Alokita Singh came first, in Poetry, Sarthi Agrawal & Siddharth Agrawal and in Story Rishi Pinjani & Soumya R Agrawal. Book Review (English) Shruti Agrawal and Book Review (Hindi), Shirlene Daniel came first. In Quiz, Navya Rateria and Tushar Prem Singh excelled.
