Three vehicle-lifters nabbed, 13 stolen motorcycles worth Rs 5 lakh seizedn Staff Reporter

Shahpura police nabbed three vehicle lifters and seized 13 stolen motorcycles from them amounting to Rs 5 lakh, on Sunday. The arrested have been identified as Anand Lodhi (20), son of Jarjodhan Lodhi, resident of Mehgavan in Chargavan, Rohit alias Rancho Patel (18), son of Rudra Pratap Patel, resident of Naveen village in Chargavan and Ranjit Singh Lodhi (20), son of Bhagwat Lodhi, resident of Hinautia village in Belkhera.
 
 
According to Shahpura police, under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh (IPS) police have started a special campaign against anti-social elements and listed criminals. During the campaign, three men named Rakesh Jharia, Prakash Soni, Munnalal Jain, Akash Soni, residents of Shahpura lodged separate complaints of stealing their motorcycles. Acting on the complaints, Shahpura police registered separate cases under Section 379 of the IPC and started investigation.Investigating the cases, police received information about some suspects who were trying to sell out stolen motorcycles. Acting promptly on the information, police started a search and trapped the three suspects. In the interrogation, accused broke out and confessed the stealing of motorcycles from Shahpura, Bhedaghat, Chargavan, Suatala, Gotegaon, Narsinghpur, Gorakhpur, Adhartal and Satna district. On their identification, police have retrieved 13 stolen motorcycles amounting to Rs 5 lakh.
 
 
Vehicle lifters were apprehended with active working of police team led by SHO, Shahpura, GS Marskole comprised of SI, Hemant Yadav, SI, Aarti Mandloi, Head Constables, Ramkaran Mishra, Lal Singh, Constables, Deepak, Virendra, Abhishek, Pramod, Dinesh, Rahul, Woman Constables, Sudipa and Vishakha.
