City says good bye to 2019, welcomes 2020

The State capital said healthy goodbye to year ‘2019’ and welcomed year 2020 on Tuesday midnight having a grand New Year bash with high spirit and tremendous zeal. Glittering celebration witnessed in the city on Tuesday midnight at different venues of city. The celebration was continued till Wednesday morning. This year, party freaks welcomed the New Year with complete masti and fun. They marked the evening of the New Year in their own style of having New Year bash 2020. The youngsters left no stone unturned in enjoying the eve of the New Year. Youngsters thronged at several party venues including hookah lounge, pub, discs, malls, boat club, picnic spot, etc.
While elders visited temples and stepped out for dinner to welcome the New Year. Many were seen welcoming year 2020 by praying and queuing up at the temples. Similar will the view on the first day of the New Year. Everyone was dressed up in party outfits based on the themes. New Year was welcomed with cake cutting and New Year resolutions. The evening witnessed large number of youngsters and families who chose to party till the small hours of the morning with their groups, while several others chose to stay at home and usher 2020 in a quiet but enthusiastic manner.
On New Year eve, people enjoyed glittery display, featuring multicolored firework, water fall, flowers and loud music with lots of dance and delicacies. Boat Club also witnessed heavy rush of celebrators on the eve. Hotels, restaurant, clubs and community groups were glooming with crow passionate to soak into the celebration, yummy delicacies and dance. City hotels were booked in advance, venues were decided, entry price had been fixed and party hubs were set to illuminate to welcome the New Year and bid adieu to 2019. City pubs and restaurants were flooded with the people having the party bash.
Apart from the celebration, city police moved out at city roads, squares and streets to ensure safety of citizens. They searched each street and squares to find out irregularities and drunken driving. To maintain law and order, department deployed additional police personnel round the city. While on the other side, families also celebrated the New Year in midnight at their homes and terraces. Hangout, camping, dance, music, parties, romantic dinners were all in the list of New Year 2020. Youngsters, families and traveller freaks have set their first day of 2020 on Wednesday with full on masti and fun by hanging out to some adventurous and frolic places.
