Especially, the train coming from Delhi and other Northern part are arriving several hours late 
 
Due to extreme cold and fog in Northern part of India, several trained were delayed by eight to fifteen hours on Tuesday. Amritsar-Nanded and Sachkhand Express reached Bhopal station by fifteen hours late. Arrival time of this train at Bhopal station was 12:10 hours on Sunday but the train reached at 3 pm on Monday. Hazrat Nizamuddin-Habibganj Express reached at Habibganj by 9 hours late and the train was rescheduled at Bhopal station.
 
New Delhi-Habibganj Shatabdi Express train reached Bhopal by 3.5 hours late. Besides, Tamil Nadu Express was delayed by 9 hours, Karnataka Express by 9.17 hours late, Bhopal express 8.53 hours late, Dakshin Express 7.40 hours late, Shreedham Express 1.17 hours late, Telangana Express 1.36 hours late, Amritsar Nanded 14.55 hours late, Malwa Express 5.50 hours late, Gorakhpur-LTT 4.20 hours late, Pushpak Express 5.45 hours late, Kushinagar Express 6.10 hours late, Chhattisgarh Express 3.10 hours late, GT Express 3 hours late, Punjab Mail 2.55 hours late and Shatabdi Express 3.05 hours late.
 
More than 5,000 passengers travelling from Delhi to Bhopal are reaching their destination be several hours late every day. On Sunday, 11 trains, including Shatabdi Express were delayed which gave inconvenience to the passengers. To solve the problem of fog, railway distributed safety device to the loco pilots but this too failed to address the issue. As winter has already enveloped the several part of country, most of trains are being delayed every day. Especially, the train coming from Delhi and other Northern part are arriving several hours late. With the starting of December, railway distributed 650 fog safety devices to the loco pilots to bring the rail traffic on gear and escape the problem of delayed train.
 
Last week Sachkhan Express was delayed by eight hours. The device was distributed with purpose of raising an alert for distance of traffic signal along with its colour red, yellow or green. There are about 200 trains including routine and special pass every day from Bhopal, Habibganj, Sant Hirdaram, Itarsi and Bina stations within 24 hours. Last year Punjab Mail, Kushinagar Express and other few trains reached by six to eight hours late. Passenger board in the train faced several problems due to delay in train.
