In yet another action against land mafia, the district administration has dismantled the interconnection of two multi-storey buildings, constructed in Adampur Kalan village, during a five-hour-long action on Monday. Owner of Yashodhara Builders Brijendra Shukla, had proposed construction of two six-floor buildings and was permitted the same by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation.

But during the construction, the two buildings were inter-connected, which was not in accordance with the norms of the BMC.A team of district administration, BMC and Police Department, led by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Huzur, Rajesh Shrivastava demolished the inter-connection of these buildings.

Sub Divisional Magistrate of Huzur, Rajesh Shrivastava told ‘The Hitavada’ that the space between the two buildings was meant to be left vacant but the builder had illegally joined both buildings during the construction. The action continued for five hours and only three floors were demolished by the anti-encroachment squad of BMC, the SDM said. Shrivastava also said that cutters and drill machines were used by the BMC workers to break the inter-connection of these buildings. The remaining three floors would be razed on Tuesday, Shrivastava said.
