An important meeting of Anti-mafia squad was held to discuss further course of action against mafias in the conference hall at Collectorate, on Thursday evening. Collector Bharat Yadav chaired the meeting. Addressing concerned senior officials, Yadav asked them act sternly with land mafias along with liquor mafia, mine mafia, cooperate mafia and people who indulge in illegal trade of drugs. He while review the actions taken against mafias, directed senior officials who have been included in Anti-mafia squad to keep eye on people who do illegal recovery from street vendors and kiosks owners.
 
He asked them to prepare the list of concerned people and take strict action against them. During the meeting he directed senior officials expedite action against mafias. Yadav asked officials to concentrate on people who encroach Government and Ceiling land and do plotting on the same and sale plots to innocent people. He also asked to prepare list of Education mafia and Medical mafia and take action against chit fund companies and moneylenders.
 
He also warned Anti-mafia square to keep eye at people who do illegal business of drugs and drug adulteration. He said whatever action be made against mafias must be foolproof and result-oriented. Collector Yadav asked the officials to lodge FIR against mafias and also seized the properties acquired through illegal means and also cancel all approvals like arms licenses, mining licenses, approval by colony cell, restaurant and bar license etc. He also asked to sent proposal for actions like exile and NSA against mafias.
 
He said the district administration would also deal sternly with officials if they would found protecting mafias from action or giving them shelter. Amongst those also present on the occasion were Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh, Municipal Commissioner, Ashish Kumar, Assistant Collector, Sandeep G R, Harsh Dixit, Additional SP, Sanjeev Uike, Amrit Meena, senior officials of various departments included in the squad.
