Collector inspects paddy procurement centres

Till now 12 lakh quintal Paddy procurement work have been done in the district. The payment processing of the farmers against procured Paddy have been initiated. till now procurement of Paddy worth Rs 4 crore have been done
Collector Bharat Yadav carried out inspection of Baroda and Nuniyanullaha Procurement Centres and instructed to the officials to ensure transportation of procured paddy to the warehouses on priority. He asked officials to take stern action against the centre in-charges paying carelessness on this important work.

Collector also interacted with farmers during the visit. He said that to dry and prepare according to FAQ standards to the Paddy got wet in procurement centres assistance would be extended on the part of administration in developing arrangements. He also instructed to make necessary arrangements in the centres. For the compensation through insurance companies the discussion has been initiated at official level. A meeting of Insurance Company Officials and representatives also called on Thursday. Collector Yadav instructed the officials to continue the weight recording of Paddy in the night also and also to continue procurement on Saturday and Sunday. He was accompanied by District Supply Comptroller, MNH Khan, District Marketing Officer, Vivek Tiwari.
