Urges party workers ensure maximum people at Amit Shah’s January 12 rally in city

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party and Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh, on Saturday, said that the laws that have been made since formation of BJP-led NDA Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are for the benefit of the nation. Modi Government has taken decisions in the interest of the country, rising above the politics of vote bank and appeasement. Singh was addressing an important meeting of rural unit of the party.

He said that the BJP is starting signature campaign at booth-level from Sunday onwards to apprise people of party’s works and vision. He appealed party workers to visit door-to-door and take signature in support and also invite them for the public meeting to be addressed by Union Home Minister and National President of BJP, Amit Shah on January 12. Rakesh Singh said that the BJP is toiling hard to fulfill the promises it had made in the manifesto.

Whether it is to abrogate Article 370 and Article 35A, abolish Triple Talaq or to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act, all decisions are taken as per the promise. Singh said the Citizenship Amendment Act would not have been required if the Congress had not divided the country on religious grounds. As the two sovereign nations India and Pakistan, had promised in Nehru-Liaquat Agreement in 1950, after the partition of the country, that they will protect the minorities. But, after independence, the number of minorities in India increased but their numbers constantly decreased in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, which proves that minority are not safe in these three countries and their protection is the responsibility of India, hence the CAA has made.

Singh said since enactment of the law, opposition parties had created an atmosphere of confusion following vote bank politics. Hence, the BJP has decided to go among people and apprise them the truth of the law through public awareness. For the same, BJP National President and Home Minister, Amit Shah is arriving in the city on January 12. He would address a public meeting hence it is the responsibility of party workers to ensure that more and more people would participate in the programme.
