 As clouds disappeared from sky, Shivlingas dazzling just before the sun rise on Sunday.

At last the clear sunny day on Sunday came as blessing to people and peasants suffering due to severe cold and cloudy weather. The people heaved a sigh of relief as the clouds disappeared from sky by Sunday morning. However, the maximum temperature is still 4 degree below normal maximum temperature. Maximum temperature recorded on Sunday was 20 degree Celsius which is 4 degree below the normal maximum temperature. Whereas, maximum temperature registered on the same day in previous year was 27.1 degree Celsius.
 
On the other hand minimum temperature record on intervening night of Saturday and Sunday was 10.3 degree Celsius which is 1 degree above the normal minimum temperature. Whereas, the minimum temperature registered on the same day in previous year was 8.4 degree Celsius. The relative humidity recorded in the morning was 88 percent. Whereas, the relative humidity recorded in the evening was 65 percent. According to weather forecast of meteorological department minimum temperature at night would decline as the clouds have disappeared from sky. As the days are becoming shorter in winter season, sun set was registered at 5.39 pm while sun rise was registered at 6.53 am.
 
No rainfall was recorded on Sunday. The people enjoyed visiting tourists spots, picnic in the wake of new year as most of the people could not celebrate the occasion to the hilt due on unseasonable rainfall occurred on January 1, 2020. despite sun shine people did not get much relief from cold and most of the people were seen basking under the sun shine.
 
According to the information provided by meteorological department, weather would remain dry in next 24 hours in Jabalpur division. However, according to forecast rain and hail storm might occur at isolated places of division on Tuesday as western disturbance might become active again due to which hailstorm might also occur on January 8 and January 9, 2020.
