The Muslim community members from Takia Para Durg has condemned the stone pelting incident at Nankana Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan, and demanded that those involved should be arrested and punished. To express their protest they also burned the effigy of Pakistan and shouted slogans against Pakistan government. Nasir Khokhar said that “We demand Prime Minister to initiate action against this and safety should be provided to the pilgrims and the minority in Pakistan.
 
It is the duty of the government of Pakistan to ensure the safety, sanctity and security of the religious site and protect the pilgrims and members of the Sikh community from any act of violence, arson and vandalism.” Prominent among those present during the demonstration and effigy burning were Nasir Khokhar, Amin Ahmed, Sheik Al Sayed, Mhod Irshad, Naim Qureshi, Soyeb Khan, Vasim Raza, Hazi Rafiq Mansuri, Hazi Gulam Rasul, Jabbar Ali, Rahuf Mansuri, Mashir Khan, Nadim Khan, Kamal Khan and many others from the Muslim community.
