A fight broke out between two tigers in Kanha Tiger Reserve’s Mukki Zone on Monday. Tiger reserve authorities said both adult tigers forayed into the territory of tigress and seeing each other, both of them fought a deadly battle with open claws. The bloody fight between both feline lasted for at least half an hour. The tourists of reserve have a rare chance to see two tigers fighting a battle of live or die. As it was a matter of huge amusement for them, they took out their mobile cameras to shoot the fight between both tigers. The mobile video picturing fight between both tigers has gone viral on social media. Park officials said that it was tiger ‘Umra’ and ‘Jamun Toll’ which entered into the fight.
 
According to tourists, the two tigers visited territory of tigress Dhawajhandi in Mukki zone to attract her. Unfortunately, the tigress did not pay attention to them. After fighting for half an hour, both tigers were tired and returned to their territory. Officials of the reserve said that the two tigers are roaming around tigress Dhawajhandi for mating.
 
We are watching the two tigers for a few days but tigress does not seem to be interested towards them. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’ Kanha Tiger Reserve’s Deputy Director O P Tiwari said, “For safety purpose we kept the matter confidential. We are witnessing two tigers roaming around the tigress for mating. It is good sign for the reserve but it depends on the tigress.
 
We have raised security provisions in the area and team is continuously monitoring them.” He further informed that currently tourists have flooded the reserve. Most of the resorts in Kanha are full with booking of tourist and every day people are capturing the movement of wildlife.
