Two persons of same family from Bhopal were killed whereas three others, including two women, were injured when a car in which they were travelling overturned in Sehore district on Wednesday afternoon. The tragic incident took place on Bhopal-Indore highway near Sherpur village under Kotwali police station. A few passers-by stopped the others and took out the bodies and injured and informed the police after which police personnel from Kotwali rushed to spot.
 
The deceased are identified as Rajendra Chauhan (50) and Satish Chauhan (40), both resides of Amar Basti in Chowki Imambada area in Bhopal. Rajendra Chauhan was senior BJP worker. The injured named Dileep Chauhan (28), his wife Santosh Chauhan (28) and his daughter Rishika Chauhan (12) have been referred to Hamidia Hospital Bhopal. As per the police, all the five persons were on their way from Bhopal to Sehore in a Wagon-R car bearing registration number (MP04 CK 2938) to attend a f amily function when their speeding vehicle lost control, hit the divider and overturned after which it fell in trench leaving two dead and other three injured.
 
Kotwali police rushed to spot and admitted injured in Sehore district hospital and from there they were referred to Hamidia Hospital. Sehore Kotwali police station incharge Manoj Mishra said, “Two members Rajendra Chauhan and Satish Chauhan were killed after car jumped from road in trench. Three other Dileep Chauhan and his wife Santosh Chauhan and Rishika are injured. A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated. All the injured who sustained injuries in hand and legs have been referred to Hamidia Hospital after primary treatment at civil hospital.” Medical Superintendent (Hamidia Hospital) Dr A K Shrivastava said, “All the three, Dilip, Santosh and Rishika, who have been referred to Hamidia Hospital, are stable and showing sign of improvement.”
