Dr Sanjay Kumar Alang taking charge as V-C of ABVV.

Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Kumar Alang assumed the office of Vice-Chancellor, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya (ABVV), Bilaspur on Wednesday. Dr Alang would look after the additional charge of V-C, till the appointment of new full-fledged Vice-Chancellor or for a period of six months, whichever comes first. An order to this effect was issued by Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Wednesday.
 
Professor G D Sharma, who was the Vice-Chancellor of ABVV, retired on Wednesday, as he completed 70 years of age and as per rules he cannot carry on as the V-C of the University.
