Youth stabbed to death in mysterious circumstances

A youth was murdered after being stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon by an unidentified person in Manegaon under the jurisdiction of Ranjhi police station in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Nicky alias Amit Saryam (31), a resident of Ganga Nagar in Garha. According to Ranjhi police, they received information of a clash near Government School near Mukherjee Chowk in Manegaon.
Receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and learnt that an injured was rushed at Government Hospital Ranjhi. Police reached the hospital where Lucky alias Bhagirath Uike (30), resident of Mukherjee Chowk, Manegaon informed that he ws preparing for PSC examination. On Tuesday evening, his cousin Nicky alias Amit Saryam and Aman alias Sunny Thakur reached his home and went outside with his elder brother Shanky alias Narendra Uike for consuming liquor. They returned home at around 9 pm and Shanky and Nicky were sitting outside the house and Sunny Thakur entered the house and asked him for drink with them. Thereafter, he came outside and saw Nicky sitting on a bench near the shop. He asked Nicky to come inside the house but he did not reply.
Then he and Shanky had dinner but Nicky and Sunny did not eat. Nicky was sitting on stairs when he went to sleep. Soon after, he came out and saw Nicky lying in front of house and bleeding from his abdomen and right hand. He immediately called Shanky, Sunny and Megha and rushed the injured at Government Hospital Ranjhi in the car of his friend where Nicky succumbed to his critical injuries while undergoing treatment. Learning about the incident, a police team reached the hospital and sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama. Ranjhi police registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC and started investigation to apprehend the killer.
