A six-member high level inquiry committee of journalists headed by editor of a Hindi daily Rajesh Joshi that probed the assault on journalists Kamal Shukla and Satish Yadav handed over its report to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his official residence here on Saturday. Rajesh Joshi, Anil Dwivedi, Suresh Mahapatra, Shagufta Shirin and Rupesh Yadav were present on the occasion.
 
The investigation report submitted to the Chief Minister includes the original 16-page report and 450-page other documents. It may be mentioned that the State government had constituted a six-member high level inquiry committee of journalists headed by editor of a Hindi daily Rajesh Joshi to probe the assault on senior journalists Kamal Shukla and Satish Yadav in Kanker district headquarters.
 
Senior journalists Kamal Shukla and Satish Yadav were allegedly beaten by the Congress workers at Kanker district headquarters on September 26. The members of the committee were journalists Rajesh Joshi, Rupesh Gupta, Shagufta Sirin, Anil Dwivedi, Suresh Mahapatra and Rajesh Sharma.
