Varsity asks examinees to first call colleges if they face any difficulty during on-line exams

Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has cautioned students not to fall prey to the misleading messages on social media regarding on-line examination that is being conducted at present. The University further appealed examinees to give a call first to colleges if they face any difficulty during the examinations before approaching university.

The circular issued by University says, as conducting on-line examination is the first experience for everybody, students too can face some problems. University is trying to resolve every issue at its level. University noticed, there are some misleading messages that are getting circulated through social media due to which students are facing several issues. These messages are not only maligning the image of university but because of those, students too are losing morale. If they find such messages then they either ignore them or send the screenshot, mobile number of the persons and the media the person is using to university. The authority would take appropriate action against such groups or the persons.

University in its circular further made it clear, while writing examinations if students come across any problem, they should first contact their respective colleges, Principals or any other authority. They can also contact the Special Task Force or Coordination Committee members. If students fail to get solution they can contact mobile helpline number provided on the university website.

Every single information has been published on the official website of university and that information is considered as valid. If students receive any information from the sources other than those of university it should not be treated as official. Students should ignore such informations spread on social or other media, not given by any official of university. University (RTMNU) streamlined its on-line examinations on Friday and examinations of final semester of final year were held in a smooth manner. All the top officers including Vice-Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari, Registrar Dr Neeraj Khaty, Director of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Praful Sable and entire examination department are taking pains so that no single student should suffer or should not be deprived from appearing in his or her examination.
