Online darshan scheme started ahead of festive season

Taking into factor the COVID-19 impact on people belonging to various sections of society, in view of forthcoming season of festivities, the district administration has inaugurated online darshan arrangement. With the inception of online darshan started by NIC, excessive gathering of people at important worship places would be controlled.
 
The online darshan arrangement was inaugurated by Collector Karmveer Sharma on Monday. The festive season starts from October 17 and the district administration taking gravity of large number of people who throng at temples, inaugurated online darshan. With the start of online darshan, people will have advantage to have darshan at their homes and of their preferred place of worship. It is informed that the facility of online darshan has been started for Badi Khermai and Budhi Khermai temple in Hanumantal, Choti Khermai near MLB school and Tripur Sundari temple under Bhedaghat. Collector Sharma, speaking on the occasion, said the arrangement pertaining to online darshan has been started so to avoid excessive gathering of people in religious places of prominence during the festival season.
 
The aim is to make people aware on the stipulated norms of social distancing among devotees who during the festivity gather in large numbers. The District Information Officer informed that owing to directives from district administration the officials were working to provide online darshan to people from Kali Mata Mandir Sadar and Baglamukhi Mandir near civic center shortly. Other temples and pooja pandals will also get included under the purview of online darshan.
