Now monsoon season is almost over. Barring couple of places getting drenched by localised rainfall activities, rest of the places in State are experiencing dry weather condition. Owing to this reason, heat and humidity level has increased.
 
Now, people are anxiously waiting for onset of winter season. Weather Department said that maximum temperatures were substantially above normal level in Shahdol division. Maximum temperatures were also above normal level in Rewa, Indore, Gwalior and Sagar divisions respectively. Minimum temperature shot up significantly in Bhopal division.
 
The forecast of Weather Department said that rainfall and thunder activities are likely in Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Sagar, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Dhar, Indore, Khandwa, Dewas districts. The forecast for next two days says that rainfall activities will increase in State. If rainfall activities increase then winter will take a little more time to foray into State. Earlier, it was being fathomed that winter season may knock the doors by mid of October but it looks that entry of winter is slated to get delayed.
