Due to non-maintenance of roads in city are in pathetic condition. Roads in Ghoda Nakkas have become pathetic. BMC identifies vulnerable areas where roads worn out due to non maintenance. Road repairing review work meeting was conducted by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC). It was brought to notice that major roads in Kolar Chunabhatti, Sarvardham Bridge, Bittan Market road, Peer Gate, Shahpura Road, 12 number road, Ayodhya by-pass, Moti Masjid road, Labhakheda and Karond market road are in pathetic conditions.
 
Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) is geared up to conduct patch work inspection in vulnerable areas like Kolar, Avadhpuri, Five Avenue premises Orchid Palace area, Anna Nagar slum area, Bhopal railway stations, Blue Moon Colony, Naya Basera and other areas in old city etc. The pathetic condition of roads in city has exposed BMC road repairing activities.
 
As per the BMC official around Rs 38 crore have been allotted for road repairing and the areas where the work was completed are facing big pot holes and severe water-logging. To check the discrepancies Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary has ordered to conduct on the spot survey of road repairing works in vulnerable areas.
