Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has criticised the Congress Vachan Patra released for by-poll bound 28 Assembly seats. Chouhan said “Kamal Nath has once again come up with Vachan Patra…it is not Vachan Patra rather Kapat (deceit) Patra”. Chouhan criticised Congress Vachan Patra while addressing public rallies held in support of BJP candidates in by-poll bound Assembly seats of Badamalhara (Chhattarpur), Surkhi (Sagar) and Devnagar (Sanchi) on Saturday.

Chouhan said that previous Congress Government had stopped welfare schemes meant for women and girls apart from Sambal scheme which was for welfare of poor people. “Congress increased the amount under Kanyadan scheme to Rs 51,000 but had not given this sum to even a single girl,” he said. Making a scathing attack, he said that during Assembly elections 2018, Rahul Gandhi had promised to waive off loan upto Rs 2 lakh of all farmers within ten days but Congress failed to live up to the expectations in this regard. Despite that, Kamal Nath is beating the chest over the loan waiver scheme. Congress also failed to fulfill promise of giving Rs 4,000 unemployment allowance but nothing such happened.

“Kamal Nath does not remember village and farmer…rather he remembers Salman Khan, Shahruk Khan and Katrina Kaif….he was busy in preparations of IIFA Awards by spending crores of rupees at a time when corona was knocking the doors in state,” he said. “No one knew exactly that from where Kamal Nath came (to state). some say he came from West Bengal and Kamal Nath wants to cast the spell of magic on State people but it is not going to work,” he added. Minister Gopal Bhargava also addressed the rallies and said that BJP is known for fulfilling its promises. BJP does not make fake promises like Congress.
