Over 19,000 devotees avail Devi’s online darshan facility on Day 1 of Navratri

More that 19,241 devotees took online darshan of various Maa Durga temples of the city on the first day of Navratri. The district administration has added Durga temple at City Bengali Club, on Saturday. With that now devotees will be able to worship Goddess Durga at temples and idols to be installed at various temples. The administration has added Maa Tripur Sundari, Tewar, Budhi Khermai, Badi Khermai temple Hanumantal, Chhoti Khermai Manas Bhawan and Bengali Club temple with online darshan facility.
 
To avoid crowd during ongoing Navratri festival, the district administration has ensured the facility of online darshan of various temples and Durga pandals. The administration is toiling hard to protect devotees from coronavirus infection, hence it has arranged online darshan facility following the initiative of Collector Karmveer Sharma. Now, devotees see these temples from home and also participate in aarti performed in these ancient temples.
 
For live darshan of temples, people have to click on online darshan option displayed in main website Jabalpur.nic.in and select temples. Likewise, they can also avail facility by clicking at https://tinyurl.com/jabalpur-devi-darshan. A special feature has also been added on this link having bank account number and IFSC code of concerned temple. Devotees can transfer donation through the site to temples. Meanwhile, Collector Sharma has appealed people to avoid crowding at temples and avail benefit of darshan of Maa Durga from home only and stay safe.
