Continuous decline in numbers of active corona patients: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there is a rapid increase in the recovery rate of corona in State which has now increased to 82.5 per cent. This has led to a continuous decline in the number of active corona patients. There is a fall in 2000 active corona patients in the last four days. At the same time, there is a sharp decline in death rate. The death rate of the last 15 days in State is one percent while the average death rate is 1.08 per cent.
 
There is constant improvement in the situation of corona in all districts of the State. Adequate number of beds is available in all COVID hospitals of the State and oxygen and other medical supplies are also available in sufficient quantity. He was reviewing the situation and arrangements of corona in the State through video conferencing.
 
He said that at present there are 20,473 active corona patients in state. There has been a decrease of 524 active patients in the state in comparison to the previous day. As many as 2,041 new corona patients have been detected, while 2,545 patients have recovered. People are becoming more inclined towards home isolation, out of the total number of corona patients in the state, 60 per cent are in home isolation.
