NSUI protests against UP CM

A number of senior office-bearers of National Students’ Union of India, on Thursday staged protest and burnt the posters of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath for allegedly stopping senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi from meeting the family members of Hathras victim. NSUI members said their leaders were forcibly stopped, pushed and abused by the Police on the dictate of UP Government. They said the brutality with girls and women is increasing day-by-day in BJP ruled states and concerned Governments are failed to bring the culprits to justice.
 
They said Hathras incident is a stigma on the forehead of entire country. NSUI members said whole country saw how the victim was cremated in the midnight against the religious sentiments and without informing the family.
 
The victim struggled with life and death in the hospital in hope of justice and the UP Government remained oblivious and when their leaders want to meet the family of the victim, they area being stopped, alleged NSUI office bearers. They said Congress would oppose such dictatorship. Amongst those participated in the protest were Amit Sonkar, Raghu Tiwari, Rizwan Koty, Sagar Shukla, Ayush Choudhary, Adnan Ansari and others.
