Major mishap averted as tanker filled with fuel overturns

Unfortunately, a two-wheeler rider lost his life after being hit by the vehicle
A man lost his life in an accident on Sunday afternoon near village Dhusawani on Junnardeo road under Tamia police station of the district. In the freak mishap, the tanker filled with diesel and petrol collided with a Scooty even as the truck driver was trying tpo save the two-wheeler driver near Dhusawani on the route going from Tamia to Junnardeo around 1 pm in the afternoon.
The truck also turned down from the road and overturned. In this accident, Naresh Kavreti (20), resident of village Umrahwah, the scooty rider, died on-the-spot. Tamia police station In-charge, SI Preeti Mishra told that the youth worked at Shakti Medical Stores in Tamia. He was going from Junnardeo towards Tamia in the afternoon, while the tanker from Tamia to Junnardev hit his two-wheeler in while trying to rescue the Scooty rider and overturned.
Immediately after the information of the overturning of a tanker filled with petrol and diesel, the Tamia police reached the spot. The leakage of diesel and petrol was also reported, after which the police evacuated the people from the point of view of security and police personnel were deployed. Police have registered a case against the tanker driver under the relevant act after the accident.
