Sports Minister Kedar fetes athlete Manasvi

ACKNOWLEDGING the silver medal winning effort by Manasvi Jamjare, Minister for Sports and Youth Services Sunil Kedar felicitated her with a reward of Rs 50,000. The simple ceremony was held at Shetkari Bhavan recently. Deputy Director of Sports, Nagpur Division Avinash Pund was also present on the occasion. Manasvi, a student of Krida Prabodhini, Pune, won silver medal in the recently concluded National-Level Athletic Fitness Championship.
The championship was organised by the Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Maharashtra in association with Extra Living Pvt Ltd. Purushottam Darwhankar, Taluka Krida Officer, Katol, Abhay Mahalle, Sports Officer, Anil Borwar and others were also present during the felicitation function.
Over 1000 participants from Kashmir to Kerala and Gujarat to Mizoram participated in the Energic All India Athletic Fitness Championship. Participants as young as four years old enthusiastically participated in the championship which was held online.
