Conducted with the objective to introduce medical teachers to changes in the MBBS course by the National Medical Sciences Commission, the two-day workshop on ‘Curriculum Implementation Support Programme (CISP-2)’ concluded at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Hospital on Wednesday. The workshop was conducted as per recommendations issued by National Medical Sciences Commission. On the concluding day of CISP-2, Dr Ruchir Khare, Dr Shashiprabha Tomer, Dr Deeptibala Sharma, Dr Radhika, Dr Gaur, Dr Archana Singh and Dr Ashok Sahu imparted training about different subjects to the participant medical teachers. MEU Co-ordinator, Dr Kavita N Singh extended gratitude towards Regional Co-ordinator, Dr Sukhvant Bose, who represented the NMC as observer and other members of Curriculum Committee MEU and all participants for their support. Earlier, the workshop was inaugurated on Tuesday in presence of Dean, NSCB Medical College Hospital, Dr Pradeep Kasar and Head of Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department and programme co-ordinator, Dr Kavita Singh.
 
Dean Dr Kasar mentioned about significance of the programme, which was attended by around 30 medical teachers from different medical courses. Dr Sukhwant Bose expressed opinions on different significant concepts including assessment, competency-based medical education, elective, foundation course and others. Those who rendered special contribution in the programme included Dr Deepti Sharma, Dr Ashok Sahu, Dr Reeti Seth, Dr K K Gaur, Dr Archana Singh, Dr Radhika Nandwani, Dr Ruchir Khare and others. The workshop is being conducted as per recommendations issued by National Medical Sciences Commission. The first day of the workshop was organised in the presence of Dean, NSCB Medical College Hospital, Dr Pradeep Kasar and Head of Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department and Programme Co-ordinator Dr Kavita Singh.
