Havan, special puja rituals and symbolic Chola tableau procession was organised in different areas of the city as a part of Durga Puja celebrations. As a part of special drive to ensure COVID-19 compliance, mask distribution was done by Durga Utsav Samitis in many pandals.
 
This distribution will also continued on October 25. Like every year, however, Kanya Pujan was not done in any pandals and Bhandara was also suspended. Symbolic Chal Samaroh was organised with very less number of devotees. Many pandals in Kolar, Avadhpuri, BHEL including Mangwalara, Somwara, Itwara of Old City and New Market, Bittan Market, Number Six, Number Seven, Kotra, Rajiv Nagar in Old City Kanya poojan was not done but masks and educational materials were distributed. New Market Vyapari Sangh also distributed masks and other educational kits to little children who are living in slums.
 
Some pooja committees also distributed water bottles, books, copies, pens, pencils and other educational to needy children in Berkheda area. In Bittan Market, Haat Bazaar Durga Utsav Samiti said that mask distribution was done to 500 pandals. The tableau of Chaitanya nine goddesses of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyala in Arera Colony remained the center of attraction every year but this year the Durga Puja celebrations were done in accordance with COVID-19 compliance.
