Corona warrior scales Mount Friendship

MOUNTAIN Man Rahul Gupta has come forward to support and motivate corona warriors. He helped corona warrior Suman in climbing Mount Friendship situated at height of 5,289-metres (17,353-feet) in Solang valley of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from Gupta, 20 youths from seven different states were also a part of the mission that aimed at honoring the corona warriors. The mission was organised with the special support of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Sports Department.
 
Suman who defeated corona said she took two-months to completely recover from this pandemic. She said that people need not to afraid from Corona. Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu flagged-off the mountaineering group on October 9 at his residence in Raipur. Rahul Gupta was leading the group that reached Manali and started climbing Mount Friendship on October 17 and came back on October 24. Yashwant Jaiswal and Chaman Kose were assistant leaders while team members were Chirag Gupta, Ishan Shirke, Shailja Tiwari besides Vineet Shounkhin, Pamposh Kaushik, Rohit Jha and Mamta Nishad as lead climbers.
 
Abhinav Pandey was in medical team, Shashank Masih in Search and Rescue team while Lala Ram Marabi, Pramesh Vijaywar and Kumeshwar Gandharw were supporting members. Kumar Sambhav was in Radio team, Vikram Choudhary in photography and film making team with Rizwana Khan and Tulshi Sahu as other members. It is worth mentioning that Chitrasen Sahu, who is differently-abled in both legs, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro successfully with support of Rahul Gupta. It needs courage to bring life on track once again after defeating Corona and Rahul Gupta has come forward to support such persons.
