Armyman booked for sexual
The Bairagarh police have booked an Army personnel who was for sexually assaulting his minor daughter for past 13 years. The survivor is presently 17-year-old and on Thursday she told the police that he father molested her for the first time when she was just 4-years-old.
 
According to SI Mona Jadoun, the victim is resident of Kailash Nagar and the accused was posted to Bangalore. In her statements the girl said that the accused would exploit her whenever he returned home on leave. The girl was assaulted recently in June during the lockdown and the man would even thrash her for opposing it. The girl told the SI that her father sexually exploited her in June when he saw that she was talking to a boy of her class.
 
The girl then informed Dial 100 but failed to narrate the real story, the SI added. But, when the man began to threaten her to take revenge for calling police, the girl decided to take necessary action. The survivor then filed online complaints with CM helpline and also with Army Welfare Association. The girl reached the Child Line office on Thursday and narrated the tale. The members of Child Line informed Bairagarh police where an FIR was registered. Police have also written a letter to the commanding official of the accused. Archana Sahay, Child Line Director, said the accused would often torture her for speaking to her classmates.
