CM pays tributes to Mahat
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries on Friday. He offered flower petals on statues of both Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and remembered them. CM reached Gandhi Bhawan and garlanded the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. There he also garlanded the portrait of Lal Bahadur Shastri as well.
 
Addressing the gathering at Gandhi Bhawan auditorium, he said that the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi, are not only useful for the world even today, but his thoughts and philosophy have the solution to several problems.
 
“Today we believe Mahatma Gandhi but do not follow him. The need of the hour is to follow the path of truth and non-violence shown by him,” he told. He said that we cannot force others, but we can follow the teachings and behave accordingly. He also sought information about the activities of Gandhi Bhavan.
 
Garlands offered at Old Assembly Square: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to former Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary by garlanding his portrait at the Old Assembly (Minto Hall) Square. He said that Lal Bahadur Shastri became Prime Minister for a short time but he gave significant services to the nation.
