After waiting for about six months visitors were seen enjoying ride of Lake Princess cruise in Upper Lake on Saturday. However, COVID-19 SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) norms were flouted and people were seen enjoying ride without masks . MPSTDC official said that It has been fitted with attractive lighting and colourful radium to give a new feel to the tourists as well as the cruise will now be available for the tourists every day and not only on weekends.
 
Changes have been made, as the cruise cabin of the cruise has now been reversed, allowing tourists to view the lake from the front of the cruise, as well as to dance and have fun on the cruise itself. With its ability to operate the cruise as of now only (40 persons) will be allowed in each trip.
 
It is noteworthy that the operation of Boat Club in the state was started from last month under the COVID-19 guidelines the tourists are being given entry in the Boat Club with proper physical distance by wearing thermal screening, hand sanitising and wearing masks. Though after entering boats they were seen removing masks.
