Baghel to dedicate ‘Mor Bijli App’ today

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be dedicating ‘Mor Bijli App - Home Access Power Services’ on Monday. Even before its dedication, approximately 4 lakh power consumers have already downloaded this Mor Bijli App and are getting benefited from it. The Mor Bijli App has been very useful for power consumers and can be operated very easily. In compliance with the State Government’s policies for providing cheap and quality power to the consumers, the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) has come up with the ‘Mor Bijli’ Mobile Application while using the latest technology. Its new features will be dedicated to the public on October 5, 2020 by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
 
The Mor Bijli App, which has been prepared by CSPDCL for the first time in its history, saves consumers from visiting CSPDCL offices for paying bills and for other works. This Application can be downloaded free from Google Play Store and can avail 16 different types of services. By using this mobile application, consumers can get information regarding their power bills, can pay their bills online, can register complaint for power disruptions, can get information about their last 12 months’ power bills and bill payment details of last 24 months, pattern of power consumption for last 24 months, details of rebate received under Power Bill Half Scheme, for registering meter readings, information about power tariff and other facilities, etc from the comfort of their homes absolutely free of cost. The dedication ceremony which will be held online from the official residence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, will be attended by ACS (Home) and Chairman Chhattisgarh State Power Companies Subrat Sahoo, CSPDCL MD Harsh Gautam and other senior officials.
