“Enjoying study, keeping oneself cool and putting regular efforts along with time management were the contributing factors behind my success,” asserted Tanmay Dokania the state topper in JEE Advance talking to The Hitavada.
His All India Ranking is 280 and has scored 253 out of 396 in JEE Advance. Tanmay is aspiring to pursue his B Tech from IIT Mumbai or Delhi with computer science or electrical subject and in future want to do his PG and PhD from abroad. He attributes his success to his hard work, parents and teachers. Tanmay said that he was consistent in his studies putting in 8 to 10 hours daily besides schools and coaching.
His father Sanjay Kumar Dokania is working as DGM (BF-8) in Bhilai Steel Plant, while mother Ratna Dokania is home maker. When not studying Tanmay like to spend his leisure hours reading books especially based on physics and listening to music. Tanmay has done his schooling from DPS Bhilai till class 10th and 11th and 12th from Kota.
